I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from GXU in the spring of 2018 and started my Master's degree in the fall of 2018 with the Ecological Genomics group at GXU. For my undergraduate thesis, I studied the effect of various levels of light and nitrogen on the growth and physiological characteristics of Horsfieldia Hainanensis Merr. During this time, I developed an interest in research and decided to apply for a research assistant position in the Ecological Genomics group. After being an assistant for over a year, I have decided to continue my education as a Master's student with the Ecological Genomics group. For my Master's research I would like to focus on invasive mangrove species.
